For as long as I can remember, I have been driven by a desire to both create and experience beauty.

It's actually this desire that has driven me to do things as grand as backpacking through the Alps or as simple as camping in Texas; this is because, for me, nature is a work of art itself. It is unlike anything else. I believe no artist or museum can truly replicate it or the beauty it possesses. Not only is it alive, but you are fully immersed in it as well-- it's as if you are inside of a painting itself.

Though I cannot perfectly emulate the power of nature, I aim to abstractly mirror some of the feelings it inspires in me through my artwork --whether joy, whimsy, peace, bewilderment-- so the viewer can share in these feelings.
